Established 1948    Glen Paul Gaskill, 89, entered into eternal life Friday, July 27, 2018 at his home in Denison. Mr. Gaskill was born July 9, 1929 in Sherman, son of Paul and Amanda Frances Isom Gaskill. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Virginia Youree. They traveled some over the years. He worked in the Sherman/Denison area over the years in the finance business. He loved the Lord and was a member of Virginia Point Methodist Church. His favorite pastime was gardening; he truly had a green thumb. Mr. Gaskill leaves behind son, Glen Michael Gaskill of Denison; grandsons, Ryan Michael Gaskill of Anna; Andrew Stephen Gaskill of Trenton; Maxwell Glen Gaskill of McKinney; Cole Madison Gaskill of Durant, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Alexandria Dale Gaskill of Preston, England; and Riley Elizabeth Gaskill of Southport, England; great-grandson, Zane Michael Gaskill of Anna; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Dianne Gaskill of Trenton. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and sister, Norma Barnhill. Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman with Rev. Lou Williams officiating.
