The Denison Press Friday, November 1, 1957 pg. 4 MRS. W.E. FOWLER Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Johnson-Moore chapel for Mrs. W.E. Fowler, 38, of 1131 W. Shepherd. Harold Thurman, minister of the Central Church of Christ, officiated and interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, with Johnson-Moore directing. Mrs. Fowler died of double pneumonia at Madonna hospital Monday morning after one week of illness. She was born in Belton, Texas September 1, 1919, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. York. She attended school in Denison and was married here May 18, 1940 to W.E. (Bill) Fowler. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband; one son, Bill, Jr., of Denison; 3 brothers, Paul York of East Moline, Illinois; L.H. York of Muscaline, Iowa; and Harold York of Long Island, New York; and 5 sisters, Mrs. A.G. Malear and Mrs. L.L. Robbins, both of Denison; Mrs. J.A. Irwin of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Mrs. R.A.
