Established 1948   Sherman - Cynthia Leon Fogle, 90-year-old Sherman resident, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Texoma Healthcare Nursing Center. Arrangements were under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, December 17, 2008 at Dannel Funeral Chapel with Dr. Eddie Johnson and Rev. Charles Hamilton officiating. Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Cynthia was born August 6, 1918 in Fannin County, Texas, daughter of David J. and Mabel Clark Short. She married Lewis Fogle on June 26, 1948 in Sherman. She worked at Sherman Manufacturing for 7 years and at Pool Manufacturing for 26 years. A member of Grayson Bible Baptist Church, she was a group leader of adults in the church for many years. Cynthia became a resident of Texoma Care Center on September 24, 2005. She enjoyed bingo, dominoes, Bible Study, singing, reading and many group activities. She was also a member of the Red Hat Club. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 brothers, James, Bill, and Wendell; and 2 sisters, Bennie Pittman and Jerry Fetta.
