MRS. L.A. FUTCH DIES AFTER 3-YEAR ILLNESS
Funeral services were held Friday at the Barrett Funeral Chapel for Mrs. L.A. Futch, 46, who died at a Sherman hospital Wednesday.  She had been in ill health for three years.  Her home was at 105 N. Andrews Street.  Rev. A.H. Horne, minister of the Pentacostal Church of God, conducted the service.  Assisting were Rev. Claud Johnston, pastor of the North Park Baptist Church.  Pallbearers were Leo Ivy, Ray Rolen, Otis Leverette, Andrew Sims, Roy Duke and Woodrow Horne.  Burial was in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Futch was born in Sherman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Hancock and Mamie Killough.  She was a member of the Pentacostal church.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard Alvin Futch; four sons, Carl Eugene Futch, Leonard Alvin Futch, Jr., Franklin Dean Futch and Lewis Ray Futch; five daughters, Miss Margaret Louise Futch, Mrs. M.W. Evans, Miss Francis Gene Futch, Miss Theresa Futch, and Miss Patricia Futch; a sister, Mrs. Ola  Alexander and husband, Frank, of Sherman; a half-brother, Albert Houston Rolen of Sherman; and her father, R.A. Hancock of McAlester, Oklahoma.
