Established 1948  The Denison Press Friday, February 13, 1959 pg. 4 DEATHS Funeral services for Mrs. J.B. French, 70, of W. Johnson were held at Bratcher Chapel Wednesday Feb. 11 at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. D.B. Wright and the Rev. Ernest L. Potter officiated and interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Bratcher directing. Mrs. French died in Madonna Hospital Sunday, Feb. 8 at 5:05 p.m., after two months of illness. She had been in the hospital two days. She was born in Kentucky, December 20, 1888, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clark. She was married September 13, 1904 to John Burk French, Sr. French is a retired MKT engineer. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist church and the GIA. Survivors are her husband, Denison; three sons, J.B. French, Jr., Kansas; R.R. French, Washington and McClellan French, Denison, and seven grandchildren.
