Established 1948   Services
were held Saturday in the Waldo Funeral Chapel for Walter Carl Enloe,
80, retired Civil Service employee of Howe. Services were
conducted by Rev. Johnny Johnson of Cooper Methodist Church and Rev.
Millard Fairchild of Howe First United Methodist Church. Mr. Enloe was born at Howe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Enloe and was married to Josie Nicholson on September 13, 1919 at Howe. He retired in 1961 as a Civil Service employee at Perrin Air Force Base and had served as a deputy under 3 Grayson County Sheriffs. He was a Navy veteran of World War I; he was a member of Howe First Methodist Church. Survivors are his wife; son, Joe Enloe, of Livington, New Mexico; daughter, Mrs. Vinita Jay of Howe; sister, Mrs. Pearl Tillman of Lexington, Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
