Ophelia M. Endsley became "absent from the body and 'face-to-face' with the Lord" on October 13, 2017.
Mrs. Endsley was born on July 9, 1922 near Goodlett, Texas, daughter of Oliver Watson Rowlett, Sr. and Jessie Winningham Rowlett.  She and her loving husband, Robert D. Endsley, worked many years in child care as house parents in Round Rock, Lubbock and Hutchins, Texas.  After her husband's death, Mrs. Endsley greatly enjoyed working with children and continued to provide day-care services for families in the Sherman area until her retirement 14 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Robert; her parents; brother, Oliver W. Rowlett, Jr.; and sister, Juanita Hodges.
She is survived by her son, Robert W. Endsley and wife, Brenda, of Sherman; grandsons, Steve Endsley and wife, Tiffany, of Katy; and James Endsley and wife, Laurie, of Gunter; great-grandsons: Jake and Reid Endsley of Gunter; great-granddaughter, Madison Endsley of Gunter; and niece, Carlyn Johnson and husband, Bill, of Paris.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to R.B. Thieme, Jr. Bible Ministries, P.O. Box 460856-8829.
A memorial graveside service took place Th ursday afternoon, October 19, at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.


Robert "Bob" Wayne Endsley became "absent from the body and 'face-to-face' with the Lord" on October 23, 2022.
Robert Wayne Endsley was born in Paris, Texas on September 16, 1944, son of Robert Dellous Endsley and Ophelia Rowlett Endsley.  Bob graduated from Round Rock High School in 1963 and married Brenda Faye Clemons on June 25, 1966.  He graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas in 1967. He worked for the U.S. Treasury Department  for 33 years, specializing in Forensic Accounting in Sherman, Texas.
Robert was a life-long student of the Word of God and believer in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda, of Sherman; children: Steve Endsley and wife, Tiffany, of Katy, Texas; and James Endsley and wife, Laurie, of Gunter, Texas; grandsons, Jacob and Reid Endsley of Gunter; and granddaughter, Madison Endsley of Gunter.
