Established 1948  The Denison Press Friday, June 17, 1955 pg.2 Funeral services for Nathaniel A. Dodd, 62, retired Katy engineer, were held Friday at Bratcher-Moore chapel with Rev. Earnest L. Potter officiating. Interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Dodd died in the Katy Employees hospital June 8, after 2 and one half years of illness. He had been in the hospital 5 days. He was born in Hibbitt, Texas, February 1, 1893, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dodd. He was married in Whitesboro November 3, 1916 to Florence Smith. Deceased had been employed by the Katy for 43 years at the time of his retirement. He was a member of the B. of LF & E, No. 8. Survivors are his wife, 431 E. Hull; 2 daughters, Mrs. N.P. Taylor of Gainesville and Mrs. Wm. R. Lawrence, Montgomery, Alabama; a brother, Karl Dodd, Gainesville; and 2 grandchildren.
