Established 1948 The Herald Democrat August 1, 2010 LEONARD - Juanita Drewry, 87-year-old Leonard resident and formerly of Denison, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at her home. Services were held at held Monday morning, August 2, 2010 at Johnson-Moore Chapel, with grandson Brad Daniels officiating. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Drewry was born on August 17, 1922 in New Boston, daughter of Robert and Ethel McGee Bice and attended Gladewater school. On October 17, 1945, she married Boyd R. Drewry in Denison. Mrs. Drewry was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Leonard. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Jason Mitchusson, Brent Cobb, Joe Dophied, Trevor Thompson, Joe Baughman and Casey Drewry. Surviving are her son, Don Drewry of Little Elm; daughters, Brenda Johnson and husband, Clyde, of Howe; Linda Mitchell and husband, Bart, of Sherman' and Karen Thompson and husband, Kevin, of Leonard; brothers, George Bice and wife, Sharon, of Broken Bow, Oklahomas; and Charles Bice of Golden, Oklahoma; sister, Ann Inman and husband, Sonny, of Benbrook; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The family suggests memorials to Home Hospice of Grayson County, P.O. Box 2306, Sherman, Texas 75091-2306.
