Established 1948 Ralph M. Donoho, 79, passed away December 31, 2018 at the Clyde Cosper Veterans State Home in Bonham Texas, Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, January 4, 2019 at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was held in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas. He was born August 22, 1939 in Van Alstyne, Texas, son of Ralph "Red" Donoho and Mary Mote. He married JoNell Westbrook on October 10, 1959 in Greenville, Texas. He graduated from Sherman High School and joined the National Guard. He was called to Ft. Polk for one year during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Upon returning, he attended Grayson College for 2 years and then attended Austin College. Ralph was a zone manager for Seven Eleven and retired after 30 years with the company in 1994 at Friendswood, Texas. He moved with his wife, JoNell, to Bells. He enjoyed raising Hereford cattle with his brother-in-law, Mark Westbrook, on the W-D- Hereford Farm. He was a 32nd Mason and belonged to the Tannehill Masonic Lodge No. 52 in Dallas, Texas and a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Galveston, Texas. Ralph is survived by his wife of 59 years; grandson, Paul Donoho and wife, Kristina; 2 great-grandchildren, Addison and Ayden; brother, Tom and Eldon Donoho; sisters, Bobby Cox and Joy Bennett; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Donoho; parents; sister, Geneva Ashenhurst; and brother, Gary Donoho. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ralph's name to the American Diabetes Association.
