Donohoe 6 December 1925 - 18 October 1992 TEC5 US Army WWII Sherman Democrat October 19, 1992 pg. 10 Denison - Funeral services for Ellis Robert Donohoe, 66, of Denison who died October 18, 1992 in Texoma Medical Center were held Wednesday morning in the East Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Bush officiating. Interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home in Leonard, Texas. Donohoe was born December 6, 1925 in Durant, Oklahoma, son of Carson Sylvester and Willie Mae Cauthen Donohoe. He was a retired self-employed painter and a member of the VFW. Donohoe married Wilma Taylor January 1, 1947 in Bonham. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Diane Varley of Moreno Valley, California; Connie Lynette Snider of Denison; and Patty Arnold of Tyler; son, Larry Don Donohoe of Denison; four sisters, Margaret Groves of Denison; Runell Mosley of Ivanhoe; Madolyn Capehart of Bonham; and Lana Rencher of Lanniue; three brothers, Marlin Donohoe of East Highland, California; W.C. Donohoe of Mesquite; Dale Donohoe of Honey Grove; and 10 grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the East Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 311 N. Fifth, Denison, Texas. Wilma Donohoe, 87, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at home. Wilma was born Sunday, November 28, 1928 in Leonard, Texas, daughter of William "Bill" Taylor and Amelia Elizabeth Taylor. On January 1, 1947 she married Ellis R. Donohoe in Bonham, Texas. Wilma became a Christian when she was 14 years old in a church her daddy helped to organize. She became a member of East Baptist Church in 1951. Wilma taught a girls Sunday School class for 35 years and served on many committees. She retired in June 1997 after working 32 years at Bettina Creations, Inc. as a wig maker, making many friends who stayed in touch with her. She is survived by her four children, Larry Donohoe and wife, Elaine, of Denison; Diane Varley and husband, Ron, of Denison; Connie Snider and Pat Arnold, both of Denison; ten grandchildren, Kimberlea Miller, Nathan Donohoe, MIchael and Eric Varley, Jennifer Kirk, Stephen Snider, Laura Montiel, Dean Arnold, Melody Arnold and Noland Arnold; five great-grandchildren, Logan Conner Miller; twins, Madilyn and Morgan Kirk, John Samuel Kirk and Tristan Isaac Montiel. Services were held at First Baptist Church in Denison, Saturday, February 6, 2016; graveside services followed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 600 E.
