Established 1948   Lorene Levenia Dodson, 88, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Paris. She was born December 25, 1926 in Sherman, Texas, daughter of Virgil Dodson and Jewel Stone Dodson. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Virgil Rakestraw and Pat Rakestraw; and one brother, J.D. Dodson. Lorene was a homemaker, waitress and worked at the Senior Citizen Center in Paris. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris. A family held memorial graveside service was held at a later date. She is survived by 2 daughters, Gloria Biggs and husband, Gus, of Paris; and Donna Jackson of Paris; one son, Mike Rakestraw of North Pole, Alaska; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
