Established 1948 Walter "Dub" Draton Dunn, Jr., 82, returned to his heavenly home Wednesday, May 16, 2018, after a valiant battle with dementia. Dub was born February 28, 1936 in Brackettville, Texas, son of Walter and Hazel Dunn. Dub married Wanda Arthur August 1, 1964. They shared 36 years together and were blessed with six children. Wanda was call home by our Lord and Savior after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He later married Doris Reagan on December 28, 2004. Dub worked for Boise Cascade for 30 years as a dedicated quality control supervisor. He loved sports, softball and bowling. He bowled a perfect 300 game more than once. Dub loved the Lord and was a member of East Baptist Church and Crossroads Presbyterian. Dub leaves behind his wife, Doris Dunn, of Trenton, Texas; children, Melvin Dunn and wife, Kim, of Logo Vista, Texas; Debbie Dunn of Bedford, Texas; Dianne Dunn Anderson and husband, Waymon, of Bonham, Texas; and stepson, Todd Reagan of Trenton, Texas; five grandchildren, Jessica Dunn, Amanda Dunn, Danny Dunn, Josh Anderson, Brittany Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda; and children, Danny Russell Dunn, Mitchell Ray Dunn, and Anthony Dewayne Dunn. Graveside services for Mr. Dunn were held Saturday, May 19 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Chaplain Kyle Felker officiating.
