The Denison Press Friday, September 10, 1954 pg. 6 Funeral services for Mrs. Robert R. Doak, 59, of 114 E. Hull, were held at St. Luke's Episcopal church Saturday morning with Bratcher-Moore Funeral directors in charge. Rev. David Jones officiated and interment was in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Doak was born in Sherman July 2, 1895, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burtis Farmer. She was married July 16, 1918 to Robert R. Doak. They resided in Sherman before coming to Denison 36 years ago. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Survivors include her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. Charles Bishop of Denison; and Mrs. Virgil Reid, Jr. of Ft. Worth; one brother, Jim Farmer of Lubbock; 2 sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Younger of Muskogee and Mrs. Leo Miller of Sherman; and 2 grandchildren.
