Established 1948   Doris Mae Duncan, 90, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, August 17, 2022 in Rochester, Minnesota. Mrs. Duncan was born June 3, 1932 in Fremont, Michigan, daughter of Walter Henry and Thelma Vivian Phelan Godfrey. For many years she worked for Wal-Mart in Denison. She was a member of the Twin Cities Baptist Church. Although her passing leaves a void in all our lives she will live in our heart forever. Mrs. Duncan leaves behind her beloved family: daughters, Sharol Nilsen of Rochester, Minnesota; Paula Goldsmith of Leander, Texas; Janice Steel of Lovington, Texas; Michelle Crerend of Wichita Falls, Texas; and son, Terry Shamblin of Las Vegas, Nevada; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Dale Shamblin; parents; sisters, Betty Keeler and Mary Culley. Graveside service for Mrs. Duncan was held Thursday morning, August 25, 2022 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.
