Shirley Darlene Davidson was born Friday, January 15, 1937 in Marlow, Oklahoma, daughter of Eddie and Viola Haston Cooper and passed away Saturday, March 4, 2018 at Texoma Health Care Center at the age of 81.
Shirley married Royce Glenn Davidson in Duncan, Oklahoma and had been married 63 years.  Shirley had been a longtime resident of Denison and Powderly, while working alongside Royce in their family business.  She was a member of Powderly Baptist Church before moving to Sherman in 2014 and becoming a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church.
Shirley is survived by her husband; 2 sons, Stephen Glenn Davidson and wife, Doris, of Sherman and Kevin Wayne Davidson and wife, Judy, of Hendrix, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren: Stephanie Childers and husband, Anthony; Stacie Davis and husband, Walt; Christopher and wife, Casey; Cassie Davidson with Wesley Johnson; and Kimberly Nunn; and 7 great-grandchildren: Trey, Madison, Cutter, Alissa, Tessa, Kaleigh and Colt.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, March 28, at Forest Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Taylor officiating.  Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Brian Lynch, Walt Davis, Ricky Owens, Charlie Gay, Gary Bell, John Williams, Ray Williams and Eric Wright serving as pallbearers. - - - Waldo Funeral Home
