Established 1948 Saturday, May 14, my beloved wife, Micki Keene Dodd changed her address from Plano, Texas, to Heaven after battling medical issues. Ms. Dodd was born in Vernon, Texas, daughter of Samuel Wallace and Rosa Lee Keene on October 24, 1945. She attended Vernon schools until her teens when she moved to Sherman to live with her father. She received her GED at Cooke Community College. In 1970 she met the love of her life, Tommy Dodd, and they were married May 29, 1971. They were married over 50 years. She worked at Levine's Department Store, Jewel Box and Super X Drug Store; later she moved to Plano where she worked at Rockwell International and then to Corinth, Texas for Boeing Co. She took medical classes and worked at the EOSCCA group, where she retired after 9 years. She enjoyed working at the church food pantry, water skiing, bowling and serving her Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Homer Keene and Don Keene; sisters, Betty Downes and Joan Long; and daughter-in-law, Merleen Dodd. Ms. Dodd is survived by her husband, Tommy Dodd; sons, Mike Dodd and wife, Sara, of Wylie, Texas; Steven Dodd and wife, Joy, of Pensacola, Florida; Tommy Myatt and wife, Kathleen, of Manassas, Virginia; Gary Eastman and wife, Michelle, of Richardson, Texas; daughters, Debbie Edgett of Sherman, Texas; Kathy Worthington and husband, Jerry, of Denison, Texas; Peggy Eoff and husband, Alan, of Missouri; and Sheri Bustos and husband, David, of Cartwright, Oklahoma; sister, Barbara Ainsworth of Wichita Falls, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. "Remember, this is not a final goodbye, but see you soon. I will be waiting for you all beside our Lord and Savior. Love you all." Funeral service was held Thursday morning, May 19, 2022 at The Chapel of Memories at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Rev. Cris Powell of Castleberry Baptist Church in Ft. Worth, officiated. Pallbearers were Ryan Eoff, Jeremy Worthington, Kris Edgett, Garrett Browder, Grayson Cox, and Jimmy Myatt. Waldo Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
