Established 1948   James Corbett Conner, 76, walked into the arms of Jesus Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Mr. Conner was born June 11, 1942 in Denison, Texas, son of Samuel and Dessie Conner. He married the love of his life, Patsy Brown. James was a very hard worker. Over the years he worked for J.W. Smith Cris Oak Plant for 18 years and 15 years for Cerval Containers. James never met a stranger, had a big heart, and he loved his family dearly. Mr. Conner leaves behind his son, Danny Conner and wife, Kimberly, of Denison; step-daughter, Donna Raines of Denison; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchldren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patsy Conner; sons, Donald Conner; Denis Conner; and David Conner; twin sister, Francis Conner; and brothers, Ronnie Conner, Larry Conner and Raymond Conner. Funeral service for Mr. Conner was held Wednesday morning, June 12, 2019 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor James Mitchell officiating. Interment followed in Cedarlawn Memorail Park in Sherman, Texas.
