Established 1948   The Herald Democrat January 4, 2011 SHERMAN - Mary Ruth Chesser, 76, passed away on Sunday, Januar. 2, 2011 at Carrus Specialty Hospital in Sherman. Graveside services were held Wednesdayafternoon, January 5, 2011 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum, located in Sherman. Mrs. Chesser was born on March 26, 1934 in Knott, daughter of Harvey and Erma Nunnally Gilbreath. She is survived by her husband, Willie "Doc", of Denison; daughter, Sherry and husband, Timmy Northern, of Bells; son, David White; stepson, Dennis Chesser, of Denison; 2 grandchildren, Christy Watson of Leonard and Casey Northern of Bells; one great-granddaughter, Abbey Watson of Leonard. Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Bratcher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas.
