September 23, 2011 DENISON - Frances Elzada Caudle, 86, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Carrus Specialty Hospital in Sherman. Funeral service were held Saturday morning, September 24, 2011 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel, with Jerry Spradling officiating. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, Texas 75090. Pallbearers were Daniel Lowe, Justin Caudle, Newly Caudle, Wesley Caudle, Eric King, Grant Helmer, Duff Michel, Dan W. Michel, Brett Whitfield, Billy Bob Hartsfield and Chad McGlocklin. Frances was born August 31, 1925 in Jack County, Texas, daughter of Ray Frances Gwinn and Opal Bottoms Gwinn. She married George Wesley Caudle on June 24, 1944 in Loop, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2007. She was a Baptist; loved bowling, sports, the Texas Rangers, crocheting, gardening and collecting pictures of all the grandchildren. She is survived by sons, Jackie Ray Caudle and wife, Debbie, of Marshall, Texas; Robert Sylvester Caudle and wife, Theresa, of Sherman, Texas; daughter, Paula Diane Michel and husband, Don, of Kermit, Texas; grandchildren - Sallie Starr King and husband, Eric; Wesley Ray Caudle and wife, Ashley; Andrea Nicole Helmer and husband, Grant; Daniel Jack Lowe; Justin Robert Caudle; Newly Bob Caudle; Jack Duff Michel and wife, Sheila; Tracy Leigh Whitfield and husband, Brett, Dan Michel and wife Mendy, Ami Hartsfield and husband Billy Bob, Chad McGlockin; great-grandchildren Kaylee Starr Prather; Cameron Clay Caudle; Carson Cade Caudle; Ross Allen Whitfield; Blaine Garrett Whitfield; Allison Marie Michel; Jantzen Donald Michel; Preston James Michel; Joseph Price Michel; Helen Faith Helmer; Wyatt Cade Helmer; Kyndal Lynn King; Lauren King; Travis King; Tatum Sage Helmer; Collin Caudle; Madisin Lei Hartsfield; Jack Cooper Lowe; McKinzi Jane Hartsfield; Bode Wayne Hartsfield; Graham Wesley Caudle; sister, Geneva Christine Lantrip of Abilene, Texas; brothers, Basil Gwinn and wife, Jeannie, of Merkel, Texas; Glen Gwinn and wife, Ann, of Abilene; 18 nieces and nephews; lots of great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Jack Gwinn, Lewis Gwinn, Vance Wayne Gwinn, Jearul Gwinn; and nephew, Clayton Ratliff. Arrangements are entrusted to Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison, Texas 75020. George Wesley Caudle, 82, of Denison died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Texoma Medical Center. Services were held Wednesday morning at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with Everett Hodges officiating. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. He was born May 22, 1924 in Brownfield, son of Elmer Sylvester and Bette E. Sneed Caudle. He married Frances Gwinn June 24, 1944 in Loop. He was a member of the Church of Christ and served in the U.S. Army Air Force in World War II. He was Market Manager for Gibsons food store. He also worked as a butcher for Albertsons, and Davids Food Mart. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Ina Pittman and Lois Justus; and 2 brothers, James E. Caudle and Donald M. Caudle. He is survived by his wife of Denison; daughter, Paula Diane Michel and husband, Don, of Kermit; sons, Jackie R. Caudle and wife, Debbie, of Marshall; and Robert S. Caudle and wife, Theresa, of Sherman; sisters, Audrey L. Bibb of Harrison, Arkansas; and Mary C. Tyson of Lamesa; brothers, Wiley Ray Caudle and wife, Betty; and Lewis C. Caudle and wife, Carolyn, all of Harrison, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
