Established 1948 Ray Coonrod 14 October 1918 - 8 February 1973 Texas Sergeant Co. L 144th Infantry WWII Ruby Lillian Coonrod 1918 - 1953 FRIDAY RITES SET FOR MRS. COONROD Mrs. Ruby Lillian Coonrod, 35, of 1009 West Shepherd, died Wednesday in a local hospital after a week's illness. Funeral services were held Friday at First Baptist Church with Rev. B.N. Ramsay, pastor, and Rev. Ronald Prince, Parkside Baptist pastor, officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Bratcher-Moore in charge. Mrs. Coonrod was born at Bismark, Oklahoma, January 21, 1953, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David A. McGee. She received her schooling in Denison and at Burns Business School, Dallas. She married Dr. Ray Coonrod here September 29, 1940. Active in many local clubs and organizations, Mrs. Coonrod was 4th District American Legion Auxiliary secretary and a past president of the local auxiliary....
