Established 1948    Mary Joyce Caldwell 1943 - Roy Wallace Caldwell 9 June 1938 - 28 May 2012 SP4 US Army  Herald Democrat June 1, 2012 POTTSBORO - Roy W. Caldwell of Pottsboro passed away on May 28, 2012 at the Dallas VA Medical Center in Dallas. He was 73. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Trinity Lighthouse Church in Denison. Pastor Raymond England officiated. Interment was at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Military honors were accorded. Before retirement, Mr. Caldwell worked for Electric Wheel in Quincy, Illinois, Preston Trash Service and IESI. He served in the United States Army. He married Joyce Kent Caldwell in New London, Missouri in 1981. Mr. Caldwell is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lew, Ray and H. R. Caldwell; and sisters, Winnie, Mary May and Agnes. He is survived by sons, Douglas Caldwell and wife, Lori, of Monroe City, Missouri; Roger Kuntz of Pottsboro; daughters, Renita Phillips of Kansas City, Missouri; Carla Buchanan of Lefors, and Lori Davis of Pottsboro; brother Harry Lee Caldwell of Cisne, Illinois; and sisters, Maxine McDonald of Two Harbors, Minnesota; Donna Jean Caldwell, Carol Caldwell and Sharon Caldwell of Vandalia, Missouri; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
