Established 1948    T.C. Coffey 18 September 1931 - 23 May 2013 Tech Sergeant US Air Force Vietnam Mr.
T.C. Coffey, 81, Denison, Texas, passed away on May 23, 2013 at his
residence in Denison, Texas. He was born on September 18, 1931 in
Voss, Coleman County, Texas, son of Tandy C. Coffey and Mary Elizabeth
Smith. He had been a resident of Grayson County for the past 43
years. Mr. Coffey served in the United States Air Force from 1951
to 1971 with the rank of T/SGT when he retired. He was a Viet Nam
war veteran. He was a heat & air conditioning technician and
was a long time owner of his Heating & A/C Company. Mr.
Coffey was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He also served on the
Grayson County Advisory Committee. He loved playing golf,
fishing, hunting and loved helping people. He was a member of the
Hyde Park Presbyterian Church. Mr. Coffeey was married to Constance Ann Finney on October 11, 1952 in Cheshire, England and divorced on August 7, 2007. There were 3 children from this marriage. Mr. Coffey married Jo Ann Campbell on October 13, 2007, who survives him. Other family survivors are his children, Edwin "Wayne" Coffey & Genia of Lindale, Texas; Ronald David Coffey of Denison, Texas; and Ellen Louise Carter of Denison, Texas; step-son, Josh Reinert & Beth of Denison, Texas. His grandchildren are Christy Jane, Thomas Craig, Riley Olivia, Jacob Randall, Edwin Wayne, Jeremy David, Lindsey Denise, Lance, Trevor Kent and Preston Cole. There are 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers and sisters; Jimmy Dale Coffey, William L. Coffey, Cecil Elizabeth and Mary Eirys. Funeral services were scheduled for Saturday afternoon, May 25, 2013 at American Funeral Services with Rev.Ron Cunningham officiating.
