Established 1948   Barbara J. Corbett 1932 - 2021 Harry W. Corbett 1930 - 1999  Barbara June Corbett, 88, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus, Monday, February 15, 2021 at Beacon Hill in Denison. Mrs. Corbett was born March 1, 1932 in Sierra Blanca, Texas, the daughter of Oral and Thelma (Lester) Williams. She married the love of her life, Harry Corbett, July 3, 1952 in Denison, Texas. Barbara was an antique dealer. She loved her family and always enjoyed spending time with them. Barbara also loved the Lord and her church family. She was a loving, caring person who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Corbett leaves behind her daughters, Paula Baker; Becky Sewell and husband, Gary, all of Denison, Texas; daughter-in-law, Monice Corbett of Pottsboro, Texas; grandchildren: Kelly Brashier and husband, Rick, of Colbert, Oklahoma; Rachel Martin and husband, Chris, of Denison, Texas; Adrienne Cohrt and husband, Sebastion, of Denmark; Alexandra Smith of Pottsboro, Texas; Annette Wright and husband, Seth, of Pottsboro, Texas; Christopher Corbett and wife, Kathy, of Pottsboro, Texas; and Crystal Baker of Denison, Texas; 28 great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Parkey and husband, Larry, of Denison, Texaas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, David Corbett; grandson, Benjamin Corbett; parents; sisters, Oraline Gower, Ginger McNew; and brother-in-law, Larry Parkey. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, February 23, 2021 at Park Avenue Church of Christ with Minister Todd Catteau officiating. Interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Pallbearers were Jeff Barnett, David Pryor, Barry Black, Ryan Wilson, Christopher Corbett, and Brandon Powell.
