The Denison Press Friday, December 23, 1960 pg.5 DEATHS Funeral services for Mrs. H.R. Galvird, 69, were conducted Thursday following her death December 20 at her home on Hwy. 75 North. Rev. Wylie was in charge and Bratcher directed the services with burial in Cedarlawn. Mrs. Calvird made her residence on Hwy. 75 North since 1923. She had been ill for 6 months. Born in Labette county, Kansas, September 12, 1891, her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Murray. She was married December 31, 1920 at Nowata, Oklahoma. Before moving to Denison, her home was in Parsons, Kansas. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Parsons, Kansas. Surviving are two sons, Deane of Denver, Colorado and Harry Rich of Colorado Springs; and one daughter, Mrs. Clara E. Spears, Denison. A sister, Mrs. Daisy Cornish, lives in Joplin, Missouri.
