Established 1948 Alice M. Beshears 1903 - 1982 Thomas W. Beshears 1901 - 1967 The Denison Herald Wednesday evening, January 18, 1967 pg. 7 Services for Thomas W. Beshears, 65, who died this morning will be held Friday afternoon in the Sunnyside Baptist Church wtih Rev. Eugene Morrison officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home. Beshears was born in Arkansas August 9, 1901 and moved to Grayson County 43 years ago. He married Miss Alice Mae Raines in Denison on January 9, 1920. He was employed at the Denison Cotton Mill and was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife; 2 sons, Leonard and Herman D., both of Denison; 2 daughters, Mrs. O.B. Shindler of Denison; and Mrs. James Bayless of Panama Canal Zone; a brother, Cleo of Austin; 3 sisters, Mrs. Sarah Shields of Denison; Mrs. Lola Steelman and Mrs. Lillie Argo of Glendale, Arizona; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
