Babcok, Denison, died at 4 a.m. Friday morning in a Denison Hospital. She was born in Florence, Kansas on July 19, 1885, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Parks. She was married to F.O. Babcock April 6, 1909 in Oswego, Kansas and the couple moved to Denions in 1920 and opened an auto supply store. Survivors include her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. Don Prather and Mrs. F.E. Banner, both of Denison; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Bratcher Funeral Chapel in Denison at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon with burial in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Rev. Duke Barron, pastor of Waples Methodist Church officiated. Mrs. Babcock was well known in Greenville, having visited her daughter, Mrs. Prather, a former resident of this city.
