Established 1948    Jo L. Brewer 1924 - 2021 Frank C. Brewer 1921 - 2003 Tech Sergeant U.S. Air Force U.S. Army Air Forces WWII, Korea  Jo Lou Sims Brewer, 96, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in Whitewright, Texas. Mrs. Brewer was born June 4, 1924 in Colbert, Oklahoma, daughter of Joe Wheeler and Hazel Fay Isham Sims. Jo was Chief of Management and was in charge of employee relations, utilization and staffing at Eieslon AFB, Alaska. In the course of her career. She was also employed by the Department of the Army and the Marine Corps. Jo was a proud retired Civilian Federal Service worker. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Denison. Mrs. Brewer leaves behind her beloved daughter, Dianna Cline and husband, Henry, of Whitewright, Texas; granddaughters, Cathleen Cline and Kimberly (William) Cline Kreidler; niece; great-nephew, Rory Williams and numerous cousins. Jo was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Wayne K. Sims; and niece, Patricia M. Williams. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, April 19, 2021 at Southside Baptist Church with Chev. Keith Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home.
