Established 1948 Warren F. Brasher 3 April 1915 - 26 November 1986 Mary Frances Brasher, our precious mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, also known as "Memaw", was born on October 20, 1922, daughter of George and Beulah Fort Allen in Yarnaby, Oklahoma. She moved from her earthly body into her glorious heavenly body and into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the age of 97. Frances leaves behind her beloved daughter, Patricia Cannon and husband, Tom, of Allen, Texas; and a precious daughter-in-law, Pat Brasher, of Denison, Texas. Her beautiful grandchildren are Sharon Cannon of Allen, Texas; Dennis Brasher of Denison, Texas; Noah Brasher of Denison, Texas; and Jessica Buderus of Longview, Texas. She was blessed to also have great-grandchildren, Lanie Welch of Denison, Texas; and Dilon Welch of Denison, Texas. She was the faithful love of Warren Eugene Brasher for 47 years prior to his promotion to Heaven in November of 1986. She was the loving mother of Warren Eugene Brasher who passed at a few weeks old and of Dennis Wayne Brasher who was promoted to Heaven at the age of 55 in July 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 14 siblings; many sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. Frances was blessed in her life to have anothe rlove come along in her life in 1989 when she met and married John R. Nix whom she was married to for another 27 years before his promotion to Heaven in July 2016. She gained a larger family with all of John's children: Charlie Nix; David Nix; Royce Nix; Dewayne Nix; and Pam Buderus as well as their spouses and many grandchildren. A few of Memaw's favorite sayings were "God loves you and so do I." and "This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it." Her greatest joy in life was telling others about her Jesus and she did it every chance she got. Funeral services were held Monday morning, October 12, 2020 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Raymond England officiating. Interment followed in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.
