October 23, 2005 Denison - DeLores Allen, 72, of Denison passed away Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Texoma Medical Center Services were held Monday, October 24, 2005 at Johnson-Moore Chapel with Rev. Jim Hawthorne of the First Presbyterian Church in Denison officiating. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Jason Cottingame. Jeff Cottingame, Woodrow Edwards, Gloyd Cooper, Mike Shearer and Gary Cottingame. Mrs. Allen was born on April 19, 1933 in Bismarck, North Dakota, daughter of Charles and Amanda Torgerson Hagen. She recieved her schooling in Bottineau, North Dakota. She married Rodney Evans Allen on December 31, 1965 in Bottineau, North Dakota. He preceded her in death on December 16, 2004. DeLores held a deep love for her family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were her life. During her early life. she was a telephone operator who worked for the Civil Service and Barrett's Drug Store. She volunteered for several organizations including delivering Meals on Wheels. DeLores was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Surviving are her daughter, Pam Cooper and T.J.; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Mark Edwards and Rochelle and Jimmie Cottingame, all of Denison; brothers, Harold Hagen of Sunbright, Tennessee; and Lyle Hagen of Bottineau, North Dakota; grandchildren. Shannon Droupy and husband, Travis; Haley and Hagen Cottingame; and 2 great-grandchildren. Landry and Lane Droupy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 3 brothers, Charles, Arlie and Ole Hagen. The family suggests memorials to the First Presbyterian Church, 213 N. Burnett Avenue.
