Established 1948  Sherman Democrat November 16, 1983 pg.B17 Denison - Servicese for Clyde O. Armstrong, retired Denison butcher who died Tuesday at Texoma Medical Center, were held Thursday afternoon at Bratcher Funeral Chapel. Rev. Sam Allenbaugh officiated and burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Gene Page, Bill Mazzochini, Marshall Nix, Floyd Nix, Raymond Nix, and Ellis Donohoe. Mr. Armstrong was born in Oakland, Oklahoma, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Armstrong, and married Mae Coble on June 16, 1935 in Woodville, Oklahoma. He was a Baptist. Surviving are his wife; son, Lewis Armstrong of Denison; brother, Walter Armstrong of Denison; sisters, Mrs. Peggy Booher and Mrs. Vera Mullinix, both of Denison; and 2 grandchildren.
