Adams 7 January 1919 - 9 February 1995 TEC4 US ArmY WWII Dacie Marie Adams was born September 28, 1923 in Cedar, Texas, daughter of Walter Byron Hash and Rosa Etta Alley Hash. She died on October 1, 2000 in Sherman at the age of 77 years and 3 days. Mrs. Adams attended Sherman public schools. On Decmeber 24, 1938 she married James Edward Adams in Sherman. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1995. Mrs. Adams retired from ConAgra. She was a member of Grayson Bible Baptist Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Barbara Brown. Mrs. Adams is survived by son, James Byron Adams and wife, Anita, of Georgetown; granddaughters, Shelley Martin and husband, Aubrey, of Sherman; Jamy Stumbaugh and husband, Jay, of Denison; grandson, Kevin Adams of San Marcos; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Embry of Sherman; Mary Wetzel of Tom Bean; Martha Shonk of Tucson, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.
