- Shirley Ann Anderson, 52, of Sherman died Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at
IHS of Texoma.
Services were held Friday, January 24th at Waldo Funeral Chapel with Michael Anderson officiating. Burial was at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Ms. Anderson was born on March 8, 1950, in Sherman, daughter of Eugene Paul and Edith Lucille Wortham Anderson. She was a graduate of Bells High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She was employed at Cigna as a customer service representative. She had previously worked at D.A.C. Services in Tulsa. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and was a talented seamstress. Pallbearers were Matt Anderson, Jack Anderson, Tony Hazelwood, Don Anderson, Gary Anderson and Ron Anderson. Surviving are her daughter; Wendy Anderson of Sherman; sister, Donna Flatt of Happy, Texas; brothers, Don Anderson and wife, Anna of Howe, Ronnie Anderson and Gary Anderson and wife, Cindy, all of Pottsboro; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Jack Charles Anderson. Memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County.
