Established 1948 The Denison Press Friday, December 17, 1954 CEDARLAWN MEMORIAL PARK SHOWS LIVING PICTURE DEPICTING NATIVITY SCENE Cedarlawn Memorial Park, located on Hwy. 75 between Denison and Sherman, is once again offering to the residents of this area, and to the travelers along the highway, its beautifully realisitc and living picture of the Nativity Scene. Set up on the south side of the spacious cemetery part, the lighted scene will be open to the public first on Tuesday evening, December 21. It will remain open each evening from dark until 10 o'clock until Monday night, December 27. New features have been added to the scene which was so favorably received last Christmas season, according to Manager Jack Atkins who cordially invites everybody to visit the display during Christmas week. Planned for the benefit of all, the scene lies on a sloping area where live sheep and cattle attended by shepherds roam in a natrual setting. The manger scene is illuminated by a special lighting system which has been greatly improved since its presentation last Christmas season. The Nativity Scene in its entirety has been set up as a beautiful reminder of the Christmas season, and the One whose birthday we are supposed to be celebrating.
