  Florence R. Davidson 1865 - 1938 John W. Davidson 1853 - 1928 The Denison Press Tuesday, August 16, 1938 CEDAR MILLS WOMAN DIES Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock, Mrs. J.W. Davidson died of heart trouble in Cedar Mills Texas. She had been in ill health for the past 2 years. Funeral services for Mrs. Davidson will be held at the Cedar Mills Baptist Church Wednesday at 4 p.m. Short-Murray will direct. She will be buried in Cedar Mills Cemetery. Mrs. Davidson came to Grayson County when she was 12 years old and has lived for the past 52 years in the Cedar Mills community. She was 73. Mr. Davidson died in September 1927 [sic]. Mrs. Davidson was born in Mississippi January 23, 1854 [sic] to Mr. and Mrs. James Christian. She attended school at Pecan Grove. She was a member of the Methodist church and Woodman Circle. Surviving are 4 sons, Frank and Carly Davidson of Hagerman; Dewey of Denison; and John of Oklahoma City; a brother, David Christian of Calvin, Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
