Monday, March 5, 1917 pg. 3 Pioneer of the Cedar Mills Community Dies In Sherman Mrs. R.C. Gordon, 64 years of age pioneer citizen of the Cedarl Mills community died in Sherman about 9:15 o'clock Saturday night and was buried in the Cedar Mills cemetery Sunday afternoon, following funeral services conducted from Cedar Mills church, in charge of Rev. King of Gordonville. Mrs. Gordon is survived by her husband; 4 sons, Ben, George, Wilton and John Gordon; and a daughter, Mrs. Ben Oglesby of Gordonville.
