 Billye Jean Wrape 25 October 1949 - 6 January 2016  Billye Jean Wrape, 66, of Denison, Texas passed away at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, January 6, 2016. She was born to Floyd and Goldie Williard Washington on October 25, 1949 in Vivian, Louisiana. She was one of four children born to this union. She moved to this area from Duncan, Oklahoma 28 years ago. She worked as a director of environmental services until her retirement in 1995. She loved camping, fishing, and the outdoors. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her children: Scott Wrape and Crystal of Bonham and Jodie Armstrong of Denison; sisters, Margaret Lewis and Russell of Geronimo, Oklahoma and Betty Daniel and James of Denison; niece, Sherry Ragland; nephews, Jim Daniel, Mark Lewis and Matt Lewis; three grandchildren: BreAnna Armstrong, Madison Wrape and Sarah Wrape; one great-grandchild, Isabella Armstrong, other relatives and many friends. Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Sonny Washington. Gravisde services were held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of American Funeral Service, Denison.
