The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, May 12, 1907 TONEY SIRAGUSA DEAD The Gazetteer regrets to announce the death of Toney Siragusa, which occurred at his home on West Main street Tuesday. The deceased has been sick for a long period, but a few weeks ago managed to be at his place of business for a few days, and afterward had a relapse. Mr. Siragusa had been a resident of Denison for a number of years and was one of our most active business men. He was highly esteemed in the Italian colony, and his death is deeply lamented by neighbors and friends. At the time of death he was 45 years of age. He leaves a wife and 5 children. He was born in Menziniso, Sicily, and came to this country when quite a young man. The funeral took place Thursday at 3 o'clock p.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic church. There was a large attendance to pay the last respects. The interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
