The Denison Press Friday, October, 21, 1955 pg. 5 Funeral services for Mrs. Fred A. Glackin, 84, resident of Denison for 58 years, were held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Monday morning at 9 o'clock with Father Henry Felderhoff officiating. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Bratcher-Moore in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Glackin died at her home, 48 Vaughn Drive, Saturday morning at 2:35 after a long illness. She was the widow of Fred Glackin, pioneer Denison clothing merchant. She was born in Council Bluff, Iowa, January 9, 1871 [sic], the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Buckman, and attended school in New York. She was married to Mr. Glackin July 10, 1896. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. J.A. (Quinnie) Cuff, Denison; two nieces, Mrs. A.N. Barker, Colorado Springs, and Mrs. Roy A.
