VINCENT Miss Josephine Brunett, 62-year-old resident of Denison, died Wednesday at 11:50 p.m. at St. Vincent's hospital, Sherman, following an illness of six years. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock from St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick McNamee officiating, assisted by Rev. B.J. Deeney. Interment will be at Calvary cemetery with Short-Murray directing. Miss Brunett was born in North Vernon, Indiana, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Brunett, March 26, 1876 and moved with her parents when three to Denison where she was reared. She received her education at St. Xavier's Academy. Her father was mayor of Denison for two terms before he died in 1908. Her mother died here in 1903. The family home was in the 1000 block of West Shepard Street. Surviving is a brother, John Brunett of Dallas, and a sister Mrs. W.L. Hiser of Denison. Pallbearers will be Charles Holden, Con Corcoran, George Hoey, and F.P. Mooney.
