Feb 15, 2010 A Memorial Service for Vera Mae Tetrick Keenan, 80-year-old Melissa resident, is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 20, 2010 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church located at 16167 CR 665 Farmersville, Texas. Rev. David Meeks will officiate. Mrs. Keenan was born May 27, 1929 at Meadow Grove, Nebraska. Her parents were Henry and Grace Whitney Tetrick. She was a Registered Nurse and a member of the First Baptist Church of Anna, Texas. She married Walter L. Keenan at Benkelman, Nebraska. She passed away Thursday February 11, 2010 at Bonham Nursing & Rehab. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law: Marsha Jo and Ron Zimmerman of St. Frances, Kansas; her son & daughter-in-law: Leon and Tammy Keenan of Sherman, Texas; her daughter & son-in-law: Patricia and Neil Horn of Commerce, Texas; her daughter & son-in-law: Peggy and Charles Powell of McKinney, Texas; her daughter & son-in-law: Sue and Ted Stacher of Melissa, Texas and her son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Amy Keenan of McKinney, Texas. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her three brothers.
