DENISON - Jennie Bruno, 88-year-old Denison resident, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at her home.  Services were held Saturday morning, November 21 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Denison with Fr. Stephen Mocio officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Bruno was born on May 28, 1921, in Denison, daughter of Martin and Mary Goia Patti Sr. and attended Denison schools.  She married Charles Bruno on February 4, 1944 in Denison, and he preceded her in death on January 24, 1996.
Mrs. Bruno worked for many years at Snow White Laundry.  She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.  She volunteered at both the old Madonna Hospital and Texoma Medical Center.  She was active in the Altar Society at the church and was a member of St. Vincent DePaul.  She also enjoyed dancing with the Sherman Senior Citizens Dance Club.
Pallbearers were Tony Crouse, Tom Archer, Donald Hood, John Herrin, Charles Patti and Kyle Derrick.  Honorary pallbearers were Mark Patti, Mike Patti and Jimmy Patti.
Surviving are her sisters, Mary Rall of Kansas City, Missouri; sister-in-law, Opal Patti of Denison; nieces, Mary Hoefer and husband, Ralph of Denison; Jo Riley and husband, Pat of Wichita, Kansas; Patricia Johnson and Mary Alice West of Sulphur Springs; Theresa Donelson and husband, Jim of Kansas City, Missouri; Catherine Bass of Shreveport, Louisiana; Martha Hood and husband, Donald of Denison; and Mae Nell Patti of Denison; nephews, Thomas Martin, Michael and Jimmy Patti of Denison; Ross and Martin Joe Patti of Dallas; and numerous other great-nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Charlie, Tony, Mike, Salvadore, Martin and Joe; and three sisters, Rosie Latona, Theresa Serrona and Lena Patti. 
Rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home, followed by family visitation
