Maynard 1937 The Denison Press Thursday, December 30, 1937 pg. 1 73-YEAR-OLD RESIDENT OF DENISON DIES Mrs. Emma Maynard, 73-year-old resident of Denison, died Thursday at 3:30 a.m. at her home, 425 West Sears street, following an illness of six months. She had resided here 55 years. Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Friday morning at St. Patrick's church with Rev. B.J. Deeney officiating. Interment was conducted at Calvary Cemetery with Short-Murray directing. A rosary service was held at Short-Murray chapel Thursday at 8 p.m. Mrs. Maynard was born in Chicago and came to Denison as a child. She married Munson Maynard, now deceased, in 1896 at Denison. She is a member of the St. Patrick's church. Surviving are a son, Harry Manyard of Denison and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Scully, C.J.
