Agnes Lindsey 1855 - 1925 William E. Lindsey 1852 - 1901
The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, October 20, 1901 BILL LINDSEY DEAD There never was a better illustration of the old sayin gthat in the midst of life we are in death than in the case of William E. Lindsey, who died last Sunday at his farm 4 miles west of Denison. The day previous Lindsey had visited the city and apparently was never in better health. He had always been a very robust man. During the night while in bed he was attacked with a pain in the heart and remarked to his wife that he believed that he was going to die, and expired in a moment later. The deceased was a pioneer of Denison, and he was a number of years ago connected with the Katy shops, but has for some time been engaged in farming. He was a great lover of the woods and made a yearly trip to the Boggy, I.T. woods. He was a splendid rifle shot and a successful sportsman. The deceased was buried Monday forenoon from the Catholic church, and the interment was from Calvary cemetery.
