The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, March 12, 1893 Mrs. Mamie Murphy, wife of Conductor Tom Murphy, residing on West Gandy street, No. 830, died at 2 o'clock Thursday morning. Mrs. Murphy was in her 27th year of age and had been making Denison her home for a number of years. She was a sister to Mr. Will Reiley, chief clerk in the Denison freight office. She had a very large circle of friends and was loved and respected by all who knew her. Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's Catholic church Friday morning, and the remains were interred in Calvary cemetery. The floral tributes were lavish in beauty, wealth and fragrance, and were from relatives and friends from Denison and Dallas.
