Thursday, July 13, 1939 pg. 4 FORMER OPERATOR OF CAFE DIES Carmino Fabrizio, 89, a native of Italy formerly operating a cafe here for several years, died Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock at his home, 427 W. Wash ington street, following an illness of 4 years. He had been a resident of Denison for 40 years. Funeral services were held Friday morning from St. Patrick's Catholic church with Rev. B.J. Deeney officiating. Interment was at Calvary cemetery, Short-Murray directing. Fabrizio was born in Castellonia, Italy, March 13, 1850, as son of Mr. and Mrs. James Fabrizio and was reared and educated there. He came to the United States at the age of 23 and after a brief stay at New York, accepted a railroad position at Akron, Ohio. Coming to Texarkana, Texas 2 years later, he operated a cafe. He managed several successful cafes in Grayson county and his business establishment in Denison was a fruit stand. He married Mrs. Finnie Fassino at Sherman, August 11, 1911. She died here December 27, 1938. Surviving is a son, Angelo Fassino, of McAlester; a daughter, Mrs. F. Ferrante of Denison, 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a number of distant relatives.
