Friday, May 25, 1951 Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22 at St. Patrick's Catholic church for Charles A. Chrisman, 76, of 4500 Texoma Drive, who died in a local hospital Sunday. Rev. Father Joseph Erbrick officiated and interment was in Calvary cemetery, with Bratcher-Moore, funeral directors, in charge. The recitation of the Rosary was given at Bratcher-Moore chapel Monday night. Mr. Chrisman was a farmer and a member of St. Patrick's church. He was born in Mansfield, Texas, April 7, 1875, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Chrisman. He attended school in Mansfield and was married there in 1888 to Miss Cora Marie Day. Survivors include his widow; 7 sons, W.R. and J.T. Chrisman of Denison; H.L. of Sheridan, Oregon; J.C. of Dallas; Father Edward Chrisman of Hermleigh, Texas; G.M. of Ft. Worth; and C.M. of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; 2 brothers, Will Chrisman of Waco and Jesse Chrisman of Brittan, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Auda Speck of Britton [sic]; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The Ladonia News Friday, June 24, 1927 pg. 4 DIES OF INJURIES RECEIVED A YEAR AGO Denison, Texas, June 22 - Miss Agnes May Pearl Chrisman, 22, who suffered serious injuries in a fall from an automobile at Sherman a year ago, while she was a student nurse at the St. Vincent's Sanitarium at that place, died at the Denison City Hospital. Injured received in the fall resulted in partial paralysis from which Miss Chrisman never fully recovered. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Chrisman who reside near Denison, 2 sisters and 7 brothers. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning with interment in Calvary Cemetery.
