Anna M. Bocklett 8 April 1838 - 25 March 1900 w/o George Bocklett George Bocklett 28 February 1832 - 9 February 1903 The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, April 1, 1900 Mrs. Anne Marie Bocklett died Sunday last at 12. Mrs. Bocklett was about 65 years old at the time of her death. She had returned Friday morning from Galup, New Mexico, where she had been called by the death of her son, John, who was killed in a wreck a few days before. The high altitude and light atmosphere of New Mexico was distressing to her and the shock on getting the news of her son's death was too much for her weakened constitution and she succumbed to heart failure as above mentioned. The body was embalmed and held for relatives from a distance to attend. Deceased leaves an aged husband; one daughter, Miss May Bocklett, and 4 sons. The funeral was held from St. Patrick's church Thursday morning. A requiem mass was celebrated by Father Crowley at 9 a.m., the interment being at Calvary cemetery.
