CORPORAL WALTER E. POTTS

Buffalo Soldier	Walter Potts

Walter Potts was born in 1892 and lived in Denison, Texas.  He was a family friend of the
Dupree & Holland families.  His descendant, Eva B. Hogan, wrote his biography "The Last Buffalo".





He is the subject of the book, The Last Buffalo : Walter E. Potts & the 92nd "Buffalo" Division in World War I, by E.B. Hogan


Walter Potts is buried at Magnolia Cemetery, Denison, Grayson Co., Texas
