Pierce, 64, died at the McKinney veterans hospital at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Earnheart Chapel with interment in Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Pierce is survived by a step-son, Sgt. J.C. Brantley, now stationed in Germany; three sisters, Mrs. Floyd Harris of Whitewright; Mrs. H.R. Williams of Dallas; Mrs. Johnnie Brown of Sherman; two brothers, Jones R. Pierce of O'Donnell and R.E.
